In the picture below, the different inputs that are used in the game are shown. For example, this is also prominent when you take a look at the controls. This screen, however, is not the only thing that tells us that the game is meant for speedrunning. This level-end screen makes it clear that speedrunning the different levels is an important part of Dustforce. The screen showed at the end of a level is displayed in the image below. The player also gets to see the time it took to complete the level and is immediately put onto a ranking list where the time is compared to other players on a ranking list. ![]() ![]() Ones a level is completed, the player gets a rank for how many leaves he/she swept and how smoothly he/she got through the level. However, completing the levels is not necessarily the main goal of the game. A level is completed ones all of these balls have been swept. In the game, the player plays through different levels where the objective of each level is to sweep away balls of dust and leaves.
